IBM Custom Handheld Tablet
MDS has developed customized trading applications for its clients using the IBM Hand Held Tablet. This device was custom designed by IBM specifically for use in mission critical applications. The IBM Hand Held Tablet uses the NSC Geode GX2 366 Mhz chipset running Windows CE 4.2. It utilizes a 6.3 inch 1024x768 XGA color display with a high resolution resistive touch screen. IBM has also made significant improvements in battery life and weight (1.8 lbs) compared to other tablet devices.

MDS's Consulting Services Group has done extensive work on developing robust wireless networking interfaces for the IBM Hand Held Tablet and is an authorized reseller of the device.
