Micro Design Services, LLC Implements
New Post Trade Management System (PTMS) for ICE Clear US.
MICRO DESIGN SERVICES, LLC (MDS), The ICE Clear U.S., Inc. (ICE) recently deployed a new computerized Post
Trade Management System (PTMS) for ICE trades that was designed and developed by Micro Design Services, LLC
(MDS). The PTMS allows client firms to manage their trades and trade allocations prior to their submission
to the trade clearance system at the Exchange's Clearinghouse, ICE Clear U.S.
The PTMS incorporates functionality already available to the Exchange's members and new functionality
necessary to interface to electronic trading systems. The System was developed utilizing the Oracle
Database Management System (DBMS). The PTMS is used by Brokers, Clerks and Clearing members to manage
trades that have been executed electronically on the ICE electronic trading platform as well as trades
executed in New York on the trading floor. The PTMS successfully went live on August 1, 2007."
